Apharwat Peak

One of the most striking peak at 4930 metres, Apharwat Peak which is main draw for tourists to Gulmarg, is home to Asia’s longest ski slope. Kongdori valley is connected to it by the second segment of the Gulmarg Gondola (cable car). This spectacular summit is 12 minutes away via ropeway and gives adventure seekers fantastic skiing, sleighing, and snowboarding opportunities in addition to breathtaking vistas to enjoy. It receives hefty snowfall, and for most of the year, it is covered in snow. Situated in the latter part of the Gulmarg cable ride, getting to this location is mostly contingent upon the weather.
