Kolahoi Glacier

Kolahoi glacier is revered as the ‘Goddess of Light’ by the locals since it is the major source of water for River Jhelum and River Lider. The trail starts at Aru which is the starting point to 25 astonishing alpine lakes. It is located over the Lidder River. This trek takes one to an altitude of 12,600 feet. It is a hanging glacier whose first view takes a visitor's breath away. One can reach here only by trek or hire ponies or horses to some parts.
