Chandanwari
Chandanwari or Chandanwadi, a picaresque valley lies at a distance of 16 kms from Pahalgam. Perched at an elevation of 2,895 metres, Chandanwari is the starting point for the famous Amarnath Nath ji yatra which starts in June and goes on till August. If one wants to detox oneself in an offbeat destination, then this is the place where one can enjoy the soothing sound of the Lider River and glaciers melting into Lider River.
