Nestled in the charming Kashmir region, Vasak Nag Kund is a high-altitude lake that is both pristine and enchanting. This charming lake, which is encircled by snow-capped peaks and lush meadows, is well-known for its sparkling turquoise waters. It is located at an elevation of roughly 14,000 feet (4,267 meters). For Hindus, Vasak Nag Kund, which is close to the well-known Amarnath Cave, has great religious significance. It is thought to be the residence of the Hindu mythological heavenly serpent Vasuki. As part of their journey to the Amarnath Cave, devotees stop by this hallowed lake in the hopes of receiving blessings and finding spiritual comfort. The people of Waltengo Nar think that the spring's six-month mysterious disappearance is the result of a deal made between a Hindu seer and the Sufi Saint Syed Noor Shah Baghdadi (RA). Every year, on or around April 15th, people celebrate its arrival with great fanfare and say goodbye to it when it vanishes on September 15th. Whether a spring is a natural wonder of the world or has a spiritual origin, it is a must-see location for any traveler who wants to see undiscovered destinations.
