Dera Baba Banda

Tucked away in the center of Jammu's Reasi district is the alluring Dera Baba Banda. On the banks of the Chenab River, where Baba Banda spent his last days in meditation and service, is the location of the Gurudwara. Guru Gobind Singh gave Baba Banda a sword and an arrow, which are kept in the Gurudwara. In addition, there is a museum containing artefacts from the past such as swords, murals, and Sikh flags. Devotees and tourists from all over the world are drawn to Dera Baba Banda because of its colorful festivals and religious ceremonies. Dera Baba Banda receives about 30,000 pilgrims annually, most of whom come for the three-day Vaishakhi mela in April.
