The Jamia Masjid, located in Jammu's Kishtwar District, is a notable landmark in the area and a stunning example of Islamic architecture. It was founded approximately 110 years ago by Shah Akhyar ud Din (RA). Both in 1941 AD and 2001 AD, the extension's construction got underway. With a capacity of roughly 5000 Nimazis at a time, this is one of J&K's largest mosques. From its two minarets, one can get an aerial view of the City. Both worshippers and outsiders are drawn to the mosque by its elegant interior design and large courtyard. The mosque is a prominent landmark in Kishtwar because of its majestic appearance, which is enhanced by its minarets that reach towards the sky.
