Lal Draman is a historical and scenic area in the picturesque Doda district. With centuries-old roots, this charming village has a rich cultural legacy. Lal Draman is a stunning meadow in the shape of a saucer that is enhanced by tall fir and deodar trees. It is situated in the village of Sazan, 21 kilometres northwest of Doda Town. Lal Draman translates to "Red Meadow" in the local tongue. The area enjoys beautiful scenery, warm summer temperatures, and snowfall in the winter. Every year, a mela is organised at Lal Draman in collaboration with the tourism department. Lal Draman is a symbol of communal harmony and brotherhood because it is a place where mosques and temples can be seen side by side. There are several other verdant meadows besides Lal Draman, such as Makhan Baggi, Allah Kanda, Chandrain, Kilmil Gurmal Galla, and Basam Galla.
