Shalimar Garden
Shalimar Bagh, sitting on the eastern bank of Dal Lake in Srinagar, Kashmir, is a masterpiece of Mughal garden design. Built by Emperor Jahangir in 1619 for his beloved wife, Nur Jahan, the garden is a testament to their enduring love and the opulence of the Mughal era.
