Kokernag falls in the district Anantnag and 70 km away from Srinagar district. As per the revenue record, the real name of Kokernag is Bindoo Zalangam. It is located in Breng valley which is known as the ‘Golden Crown of Kashmir.’ It holds the largest freshwater lake of Kashmir.
