Leh-Sumra-Pangong-Lake-Leh
Ladakh is country's best jaunt for nature lovers and adventurous souls. Ladakh shares its international boundary and strong cultural similarities with Tibet and is also dubbed as ?Little Tibet?. Hence, the region is not just famous for its ancient Buddhist monasteries but also hosts to a sizable population of Tibetan Buddhists. Linguistically as well, Ladakhi is very closely related to Tibetan. Rock carvings have also been discovered in many parts of the region indicating that the area has been inhabited from Neolithic times. The Indus valley which has an expansive agricultural land is the heartland of Ladakh. The region has many popular trekking destinations on either side of Indus valley which give ample opportunity to a traveler to get lost in the unexplored terrains. To compound its remote untouched mountain beauty and wild life, the region also houses numerous enchanting Gompas (Buddhist temples for learning), caves and also serves mouth-watering Tibetian cuisines. A must try in the Ladakhi cuisine is the Gurgur Cha, made with strong green tea, butter, and salt mixed in a large churn. Other local dishes such as tsampa also make for great trekking food as it can be consumed without cooking. Ladakh is a perfect destination for those who savor meditating in the lap of nature, for those who love to trek, for those who want to experience a different culture, or those who want to relish natural beauty at its purest.
Day 01 Leh

- An early morning arrival at Leh airport where you will be greeted by our company representative and transferred directly to your Leh based accommodation.
- After check-in spend a full day taking rest and adapting to the high altitude of Ladakh.
- Enjoy the surrounding mountain views and take in the local gardens before dinner and overnight stay in your preferred Leh based accommodation.
Day 02 Leh - Pathar Sahib - Sangham - Magnetic Hill - Basgo - Lamayuru

- Wake early and travel west of Leh to the popular ?Hall of Fame? war museum where you can learn about local history and pay your respects to the Indian army as you peruse the local war memorabilia.
- Next, make you way to the Sikh temple known as ?Pathar Sahib? before you?re stopping at the mysterious Magnetic Hill where you experience reverse gravity in action as your vehicle appears to move without power.
- Continue on your safari journey and arrive at the Sangham lookout where you will view the colorful intersection of the Zangskar and Indus rivers before driving through the ?pretty-as-a-postcard? Basgo village.
- Overnight stay in Lamayuru.
Arrive at your overnight destination of Lamayuru and enjoy the views of the village which looks like something from a fairy-tale.
Day 03 Lamayuru - Alchi - Likir - Hall of Fame - Leh
- Wake early and make your way to the Lamayuru monastery for the early morning ?puja? with the resident monks. Watch them perform the daily rituals and chanting and then return to your accommodation for a late breakfast.
- After check out, take a short drive to Alchi monastery via the famous ?moonland territory? - so-called because of its crater-like landscape which some people say resembles the environment of the moon.
- Proceed to the Alchi monastery and marvel at the unique Kashmiri influenced architecture before one last holy site for the day - the Likir gompa which is famous for its tall Buddha statue.
- Make the return trip back to Leh via the Indus valley and return to the Leh bazaar with free time to peruse the local handicrafts and shop for souvenirs.
- Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 04 Leh - Disket - Hunder - Sumoor / Nubra (One way ? 140 Kms, Around 5 hours travelling time per way)

- Depart Leh after breakfast and head towards ?Nubra Valley
- On arrival in the Valley, you will visit the Disket monastery where you can see the 100-foot tall Buddha statue and then those who wish to enjoy an optional camel safari on Nubras resident double humped camels can climb aboard a double-humped camel in Hunder for a ride around the cold desert sand dunes.
- Arrive to Nubra Valley accommodation in time for dinner and overnight stay.
Description- Popularly known as the ?valley of flowers? because of the variety of wildflowers and medicinal plants grown all over the local area. Situated in the northern part of Ladakh (between the Karakoram and Ladakh Himalayan ranges), the journey between Leh and Nubra takes you over ?Khardong-la-pass? which is the world?s highest motor-able road (located 18390 feet above sea level)! The journey to Nubra is a half-day drive of breathtaking landscapes and spectacular scenery and the experience is sure to be once-in-a-lifetime and truly unforgettable.
Day 05 Sumoor - Pangong Lake (One way ? 165 Kms, Around 6.30 hours travelling time per way)
- Definitely a highlight of your tour, today involves an adventurous drive with a constantly scenic trip to the magnificent Pangong Lake.
- Overnight stay in Pangong.
Description Pangong Lake:A must see destination for your time in Ladakh, Pangong Lake has been made famous by the 'Three Idiots' movie and more than half of the lake marks the separation border of India and China.The appearance of the water is said to change colour at every angle of the sun - which makes for some amazing photographs so don?t forget your camera (and spare batteries!).
Day 06 Pangong Lake - Thiksey - Shey - Leh (One way ? 140 Kms, Around 5 hours travelling time per way)

- Start your morning with a sunrise view of beautiful Pangong Lake before making your way back to Leh via Thiksey monastery.
- Decsription:Commonly referred to as ?Little Lhasa?, Thiksey has become a popular tourist destination because of its architectural resemblance to the ?Potala Palace? in Lhasa, Tibet.
- Finish the afternoon with a short drive to the Shey Monastery and Palace - both built in 1655 as summer retreat spaces for the reigning King.
- Overnight stay in Leh.
Return to Leh for a well earned rest with the evening free to roam in the market as per your leisure.
Day 07 Departure
- Our driver will collect you from your accommodation and transfer you directly to the airport in time for your early morning flight.

- Any changes / cancellations / expenses borne due to delay in Flights / Trains / Buses.
- Any cost arising due to ?Acts of God? including landslides, road blockage, terrorist activities, and political disturbances (strikes) etc. Cost to be borne by the client - directly payable on the spot.

- All passengers have to report 02 hrs prior to the departure due to security checking at the airport.
- We reserve the right to re-arrange itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total number of days in each destination and without compromising any services.
- The vehicle used is none air-conditioned and is available at trip wise not on disposal subject to municipal limits. Clients are requested to follow the timings in the program. In case any services are missed due to delay in departure, the operator will not be responsible for any refunds.

- Due to security reasons prepaid numbers are not working in Jammu and Kashmir while as post-paid are working in entire Jammu and Kashmir
