Day 01: Arrival - Srinagar

  • Arrive at Srinagar Airport and transfer to the hotel in Srinagar.
  • After quick wash and change have a visit Mughal Gardens (Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh) Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh built in 1632 A.D. by Asif Khan, brother-in-law of Jahangir and Shalimar Bagh built by Jahangir for his wife Empress Noor Jahan and Chashm-e-Shahi.
  • All the gardens are on the banks of Dal Lake.
  • After having visit, back to the Hotel.
  • Dinner and Overnight Stay in Srinagar Hotel.

Day 02: Srinagar ? Doodhpathri - Srinagar (One way ? 50 kms, 02 hrs by road)

  • After Breakfast Check out from the Hotel transfer to Doodhpathri.
  • Doodhpathri Description - A tourist destination and hill station located in Budgam district of Jammu & Kashmir. Situated at an altitude of 8,957 ft from sea level, and located at a distance of 42 km from state summer capital Srinagar.

    It lies in a bowl-shaped valley in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas, at an altitude of 2,730 m (8,957 ft), above sea level. It is an alpine valley covered with snow clad mountains and the meadows of Pine Fir and Deodar. The natural meadows, which are covered with snow in winter, allow the growth of wild flowers such as daisies, forget-me-nots and butter cups during spring and summer.

    Getting there: Doodhpathri is easily accessible from Srinagar city or Srinagar Airport (SXR), in less than 2?3 hours from car or bus.

  • Return to the hotel in the Evening.
  • Dinner & overnight at the Srinagar Hotel.

Day 03 :Srinagar ?Sonamarg - Srinagar (One way 80 Kms; Approx. 03 hours by Road)

  • After Breakfast transfer to the Sonamarg.
  • Sonamarg Description--Situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonamarg is also called as ?The meadow of gold? has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout and mahaseer. Ponies can be hired (Own arrangements) for the trip up to Thajawas glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer.
  • Optional Visit Tour /Direct Payment Basis 1- -Zojila Pass Visit:The journey from Sonamarg to Zojila (zero point or Gumri are the main points of Zojila) is out of World Experience. During the drive from Zojila road we can see the Baltal (base camp for shri Amarnath Ji Shrine) and the footpath that leads you to the Holy Amarnath Cave is also visible. The other places of attraction that lie in between the areas of Zojila and Sonamarg are Nilgraad. Nilgraad in Kashmiri language means the blue stream, and this name is due to the fact that during summers the colour of river Sindh turns blue when it is the clear sky with bright sun at this particular place.

    Optional Visit Tour/Direct Payment Basis 2: Visit to Sarbal and Fish point: The Sarbal is the last village of Kashmir where people mainly live in small traditional and old-fashioned huts. The Fish point is an artificial pond made by the jktourism; a beautiful natural waterfall is present near this artificial pond which is the source of water for it. Many water activities can be performed in this pond like, water ball, boat ride etc.

    Optional Visit Tour 3: Thajawas glacier by walk or ponies - Treks through woodland & meadows lead to a sprawling glacier, popular for sledding & photography.

  • Return back to the Hotel in Srinagar.Overnight stay &dinner at the hotel in Srinagar.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: For Sonamarg Visit during heavy snowfall vehicles go till Gagangir which is 10 km's away from Sonamarg. In this case the only possible mode of transportation is Ponies. The guest has to pay on actuals.

Day: 04: Srinagar-Gulmarg ? Srinagar (One way -50 km; 2:00 Hrs.)

  • AAfter breakfast have a day excursion of Gulmarg.
  • It was discovered as a tourist destination by the British in the 19th century. It is exquisitely situated in a pine surrounded basin of the Pir Panjal range at an altitude of 2,730 meters above sea level and one of the most famous tourist destinations of Kashmir. It also has one of the world?s highest green golf courses with 18 holes, as well as a clubhouse, which is a historical building in its own right.
  • Optional / Own Arrangements: Gulmarg to Kungdoor (Phase 1): The 1st phase of the Gondola takes tourists to the height of 8530 ft to Kongdori Station.
  • Optional / Own Arrangements: Kungdoor to Aparwath (Phase 2): the second stage of the Gondola goes up to the height of 12293 ft.

  • After breakfast, commence drive to Pahalgam. Enroute visit bat factory & Apple Valley.
  • Description about Pahalgam: Pahalgam is one of the famous Tourist attraction tourist attractions and a favorite place for shooting of Bollywood films, and is still a health resort. Besides tourist huts, several hotels in private sector have come up here and these hotels provide modern facilities to their guests.

  • Upon arrival check into the Hotel. Dinner & overnight at Hotel.

Day 06 Pahalgam

  • After breakfast, have an optional tour.
  • Optional Sightseeing/ Own Arrangements: Embark on an excursion to Chandanwari (3288 meters), Betaab Valley and Aru Valley. Surrounded by snow-covered mountain peaks and dense pine and deodar forests, this valley is the mouth of River Sheshnag.
  • Overnight stay and dinner at Hotel in Pahalgam.

Day 07 Pahalgam ? Srinagar (One way - 94 kms, 03 hrs by road)

  • After Breakfast check out from the Hotel and then proceed towards Srinagar.
  • En-route visit Shankaracharya Temple Which is also known as the Jyeshteshwara Temple.
  • Description:It is situated on top of the Shankaracharya Hill on the Zabarwan Range in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is at a height of 1,000 feet above the valley floor and overlooks the city of Srinagar.

  • Check in to Houseboat, Rest of the day free to explore the beautiful markets of Srinagar.
  • Overnight stay and dinner at the Houseboat in Srinagar.

Day 08: Srinagar

  • Breakfast and keep your luggage ready for check out.
  • Transfer to the Srinagar Airport.
  • Depart with fond memories.
  • Note: This is to update that there are no liquor shops (alcoholic beverages) in Pahalgam, Gulmarg and Sonamarg. Hotels in these regions don't serve liquor. Guests are requested to carry liquor from Srinagar as there are only a few liquor shops in Srinagar.

  • In places like Pahalgam, new construction is banned to save ecology. In fact, it is so strict in Pahalgam, that older hotels cannot be renovated or painted too. Thus, many hotels have challenges with the interiors too.
  • Pony owners have a strong hold in Gulmarg and Pahalgam and restrict our vehicles travelling in these two villages. Guests have to listen to the instructions of the Drivers/ TMs and/or local guides in dealing with the locals.
