It is located in the Himalayan foothills providing amazing panoramas of the mountain ranges and valleys. Jammu is also famous for its Rajma- Chawal, Khatta Ambal, a tangy and spicy pumpkin preparation, Kyur, a sumptuous food item with a wide cultural significance, Auriya, a typical preparation of fermented mustard and curd, Kalari, a cherished indigenous snack is made up of cheese and many such delicacies which are unheard of anywhere in India. You can enjoy these delicacies at various places in Jammu. Vaishno Devi being a renowned Hindu religious site in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir's Trikuta Mountain Ranges is one of India's most popular and beloved pilgrimage destinations. Patni-top is renowned for its outstanding scenic beauty, peaceful surroundings, and pleasant environment, which make it an attractive summer getaway for both domestic and foreign tourists. The area welcomes guests with possibilities for relaxation and outdoor activities, providing a calm respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. Ragunath Temple, Amar Mahal, Jambu Zoo, Tirupathi Balaji Temple, Bagh-e-Bahu, Mubarak Mandi, Akhnoor Forts are some of the other places that can be visited when coming in Jammu.

Day 01: Jammu ? Bhaderwah (One way 205 kms, around 6.30 hrs by road)

  • Arrival at Jammu Airport/ Railway Station and transfer to Bhaderwah.
  • Enroute enjoy Jammu local cuisine Rajamah (Kidney beans), Rice and Aanardana (Dried) Pomegranate seeds chutney in lunch at Assar.
  • Description about Bhaderwah:-Bhaderwah is a beautiful valley situated in Doda district of Jammu. Bhaderwah is a beautiful valley situated at a distance of 205 km from Jammu to its North at a height of 5000 ft. above the sea level. Because of its scenic beauty it is called "Mini Kashmir". Reach and enjoy the splendid view of lush green meadows surrounded by rich green mountains from your hut.

  • Check in at the hotel.
  • Welcome Indian Tea as you reach Bhaderwah.
  • Overnight stay in Bhaderwah.

Day 02: Bhaderwah (In winters the access to tourist places gets restricted due to snow fall)

  • Morning after breakfast, proceed for Khillani top and Padri meadows.
  • Padri Pass at a height of 9500 feet is a link to Chamba in Himachal Pradesh.
  • Late afternoon you will visit Himman Resort, Gupt Ganga Temple, Chandi Mata Mandir, Bhaderwah Fort and Gatha resort.
  • Return back to the hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Bhaderwah.

Day 03: Bhaderwah (In winters the access to tourist places gets restricted due to snowfall)

  • Morning after breakfast, leave for a day trip to enchanting Jai Valley.
  • Enjoy moderate Trek to Rehoshera during the day.
  • If time and your stamina permits you can also trek to the nearby Jantroon Dhar about a couple of miles away from Rehoshera. This trek will help you to discover a photographer in yourself.

  • Return back to the hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Bhaderwah.

Day 04: Bhaderwah ? Patnitop (One way 205 kms, around 6.30 hrs by road)

  • After Breakfast check out of the hotel.
  • Transfer to the patnitop.
  • Patnitop Description:Enveloped by thickly wooded Cedar/ Deodar forests, Patnitop offers beautiful picnic spots, peaceful walks and breathtaking views of the mountain scape of the Chenab basin. It is the closest winter resort to Jammu and Udhampur and is second to none in its natural charm, climate, pine forests and lush green cover. This famous hill resort is perched on a beautiful plateau, at an altitude of 2024 m across which the Jammu-Srinagar Highway passes. Day Free at Leisure. Visit Nag Mandir devoted to Serpent God.

Day 05: Patnitop

  • Breakfast at the Hotel.
  • Transfer to Sudhmahadev temple and Mantalai Or Day visit to Sanasar and Nathatop. (If guests are interested in visiting temples they can opt for Sudhmahadev visit and if they are eager to enjoy nature then Sanasar and Nathatop is suggested)
  • Description:Sudh Mahadev is a highly revered temple in Jammu region. Believed to have been constructed more than a thousand years ago, this temple is situated in Chanhani town, which is located near Patnitop. It is one of the major attractions in Patnitop region. The temple houses a Trident (Trishul), natural black marble Lingam and a mace. There is also a holy spring called Pap Nashni Bowli near the temple that holds the reputation of cleansing the sins of anyone who bathe under it. This sacred shrine has a legend attached to it: according to Hindu mythology, a demon named Sudheet came to visit Goddess Parvati. But when the Goddess saw the demon, she screamed in fear provoking Lord Shiva to throw his trident at the demon and kill him. When he realized that what he did was a mistake, Lord Shiva resurrected the demon; since then this place is known as Sudh Mahadev.

  • Overnight stay and dinner at hotel in Patnitop.

Day 06: Patnitop - Jammu

  • Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Jammu.
  • Visit Suchetgarh Border - Then drive you towards the India Pakistan border. We will cross the ?First Line of Defence? and go upto ?No Man's Land? between India and Pakistan.
  • Visit Gharana Wetland.
  • About Gharana Wetland: It is the most famous destination for bird lovers located in the R.S. Pura district of Jammu. Ghar-ana wetland (meaning coming home) is a paradise of migratory birds. Gharana receive about 10000 to 20000 migratory birds in winters every year. It is located along the border with Pakistan. Some of the flagship species are Bar headed Geese, Grey Lag Goose, Shelduck, Pochard, Gadwill, Pintail Duck, Mallard, Spoonbills, Common Cranes, Wooly necked Storks and Wigeon, Whistling Teals. Most of these birds come from Central Asia and Northern Europe.

  • Drop at Jammu Hotel.
  • Overnight at a Hotel in Jammu.

Day 07: Jammu

  • After Breakfast check out of the hotel.
  • Leave with Fond Memories.
