Katra-patnitop-jammu
Jammu is famous for its rich tradition of culture, lovely scenery, mediaeval temples, and lively local markets. Jammu, popularly referred to as the "City of Temples," has a unique combination of scenic beauty, spirituality, and cultural significance. It is located in the Himalayan foothills providing amazing panoramas of the mountain ranges and valleys. Jammu is also famous for its Rajma- Chawal, Khatta Ambal, a tangy and spicy pumpkin preparation, Kyur, a sumptuous food item with a wide cultural significance, Auriya, a typical preparation of fermented mustard and curd, Kalari, a cherished indigenous snack is made up of cheese and many such delicacies which are unheard of anywhere in India. You can enjoy these delicacies at various places in Jammu. Vaishno Devi being a renowned Hindu religious site in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir's Trikuta Mountain Ranges is one of India's most popular and beloved pilgrimage destinations. Patni-top is renowned for its outstanding scenic beauty, peaceful surroundings, and pleasant environment, which make it an attractive summer getaway for both domestic and foreign tourists. The area welcomes guests with possibilities for relaxation and outdoor activities, providing a calm respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. Ragunath Temple, Amar Mahal, Jambu Zoo, Tirupathi Balaji Temple, Bagh-e-Bahu, Mubarak Mandi, Akhnoor Forts are some of the other places that can be visited when coming in Jammu.
Day 01: Jammu
- Arrive at Jammu airport / Railway station and transfer to the hotel.
- Visit Bawe temple, Bagh e Bahu, Fish aquarium and Maharaja Hari Singh Park.
- Later visit Suchetgarh Border:- Then drive you towards India Pakistan border. We will cross the ?First Line of Defence? and go upto ?No Men?s Land? between India and Pakistan.
- Overnight stay and dinner at Hotel in Jammu.
Bagh-e-Bahu (Musical Fountain and Light and Sound Shows):A popular tourist attraction in Jammu, Bagh-E-Bahu host to colorful dancing fountains as well as light and sound shows.Situated on the banks of the Tawi River, right next door to the popular Bahu Fort, Bagh-e-Bahu has serene, lush lawns and stunning blooming flowers. The attractions are a unique blend of traditional and modern and are reportedly fitted with the latest projection, mapping, sound, and laser technologies. The space has a seating capacity of 400 people.Computer-generated imagery will highlight the history and legacy of Jammu and the show will go on for 15-20 minutes. During the inaugural show, the evolution of Jammu, from the days of Raja Jambu Lochan and fun insights into the region?s unique cultural heritage are shown.
Day 02 Jammu- Katra (One way 50 Km ; approx 1:30 Hrs by Road)
- After Breakfast Checkout from the Hotel & transfer to katra.
- Enroute visit the famous Amar Mahal Museum.
- Check in Hotel in Katra.
- Dinner & Overnight Stay at Katra Hotel.
Day 03: Katra (Vaishno Devi Darshans)
Please be advised that on the day of Darshans we will not provide vehicle and guests have to coordinate with hotels reception for Banganga / Helipad pick up and drop. The hotel may or may not apply charges for Banganga pick up and drop as per policy.

- Breakfast at the Hotel.
- Register and Procure RFID Card. Drop to the Banganga and start your Yatra for Vaishno Devi Darshans (Please be advised that Bhavan is around 13 Km?s from Katra Town and you can hire Ponies, Palkis or can cover the distance by Foot).
- Return to Katra.
- Overnight stay and dinner at Hotel in Katra.
Please note that Yatra Slips can be either booked on Shrine Board's website i.e. www.maavaishnodevi.org in advance or available at Shrine Board's Yatra Slip counter at Katra. Important Instruction ? Kindly keep tab, laptop, Video camera, handy camera and any licensed weapon in your hotel room as due to security reasons these things are not permitted during Yatra
Day 04: Katra ? Patnitop (One way ? 90 Kms; 2-3 hrs by Road)
- Breakfast and checkout from the Hotel.
- Transfer to Patnitop.
- Check in Hotel in Patnitop.
- Overnight stay and Dinner at Hotel in Patnitop.
Patnitop Description:Enveloped by thickly wooded Cedar/ Deodar forests, Patnitop offers beautiful picnic spots, peaceful walks and breathtaking views of the mountain scape of the Chenab basin. It is the closest winter resort to Jammu and to Udhampur and is second to none in its natural charm, climate, pine forests and lush green cover. This famous hill resort is perched on a beautiful plateau, at an altitude of 2024 m across which the Jammu-Srinagar Highway passes.Visit Nag Mandir devoted to Serpent God.
Day 05: Patnitop-Jammu(Departure)
- After Breakfast check out from the Hotel.
- Transfer to the Railway station/airport.
- Depart with Fond memories.

- Entrance Fees & Guide charges.
- Any cost arising due to Force Majeure circumstances, natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, Terrorist activities, political disturbances (strikes), etc (to be borne by the client, which is directly payable on the spot).
- Any portage at hotels, tips, insurance, wine mineral water, telephone charges, and all items of personal nature.
- Any changes / Cancellations / Expenses borne due to delay in Flights / Trains / Buses.
- Any service not specified in inclusions.
Important Instructions: -
- All passengers have to report 02 hrs prior to the departure due to security checking at the airport.
- No hand baggage will be allowed to be carried inside the aircraft due to security reasons. Only Jewellery and laptops will be allowed for cabin baggage.
- We reserve the right to re-arrange itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total number of days in each destination and without compromising any services.
- The vehicle is available at trip wise not on disposal subject to municipal limits. Clients are requested to follow the timings in the program. In case any services are missed due to delay in departure, the operator will not be responsible for any refunds.

- Due to security reasons prepaid numbers are not working in Jammu and Kashmir while as postpaid are working in the entire Jammu and Kashmir.
- Any dispute relating to or arising out of all or any one of the above stated terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive Jurisdiction of Courts at Jammu.
